I was listening to a sermon today. The preacher presented a story that goes something like this - 

A member of a church was having a conversation with his pastor. He explains that when he tithes every month, by the end of the month he doesn't have enough money to pay for some of his bills. So his pastor offers to help him out. He says, "Why don't you continue to tithe and just give me your bills that you cannot pay for and i'll take care of it." The church member was shocked at the pastors offer. He agreed. The pastor replied, "So, you would trust me, a human being, someone who makes mistakes and may fail his word instead of God, the only one who can be fully trusted?"

In life, we so easily put God aside in difficult situations, whether it be small or big. It's hard for us to entrust things of this world to God who we do not see. I am guilty of it. Are you?
